London Thomas Nelson and Sons 1913 Hard Cover Good
Red boards, gilt type. Bumped at the corners and edges, spine slightly cocked, dampstain on the lower right corner of the back cover. The book has a discernable and not unpleasant aroma of pipe tobacco. There is no publication date, but the frontispiece is printed using photolithography, and the book has an inscription on the flyleaft to Basil Lyndon Steele from his mother dated 1913, so it was no doubt published close to that year.

New York MacMillan 1895 Hard Cover Very Good No Jacket H.M. Brock
In brick-red boards with gilt type. A bit of wear at the top and bottom of the spine, shelfwear on the edges and a bit bumped on the corners, foxing on the endpapers, but the binding is sound and square and the book is unmarked.
