Extremely well-kept copy of the first American edition of the German translation of Milne's classic "Winnie-the-Pooh, " accompanied with the original illustrations by Shepard. Book is in virtually perfect condition, with a possibility of a very slightly loose hinge (upper; lower is very tight) and has an apparent gift inscription in German facing the half title page. DJ has rubbing, particularly along spine and front flap fold, and there is a very small (less than 1/4") tear at bottom of front flap fold.
